How does conference testing work?

When both calls have entered the conference successfully, an audio WAV file is played from one channel to the other and the audio is recorded on the Spearline server. This audio is then analyzed to generate an audio quality score.

  1. The Spearline in-country servers place two calls into the conference bridge using standard ISDN phone lines. The first call is made via the country being tested and the second call is made via a DDI (Direct Dial Inward) from a number local to the conference bridge.
  2. Both calls connect to the same conference using the same access credentials.
  3. When both calls have entered the conference successfully, an audio WAV file is played from one channel to the other and the audio is recorded on the Spearline server. This audio is then analyzed to generate an audio quality score.
  4. When issues are found relating to connectivity, passcode access or audio quality, Spearline alerts you immediately and provides you with the failure reasons and the call detail records needed to have the issues resolved.
